How does StepFurr work?
StepFurr turns everyday walks into a little collecting ritual. Read your steps through Apple Health, hatch eggs with three taps, and meet elemental cats. More steps unlock chances for higher rarities; a higher rarity is never guaranteed by a step total.
Is my first egg free?
Yes. Your starter egg is a separate free gift. You also receive one free daily egg, even at zero steps. Unhatched eggs stay in your hatchery until you are ready.
How many cats can I discover?
There are 100 cat designs across Nature, Ember, Tide, Storm, Cosmic, Alien, and Sea Creature, with six rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legend, and Mythic.
Can I hatch the same cat again?
Common and Uncommon cats can repeat, with ×2, ×3, and higher quantities shown in Furrdex. Rare and higher hatches choose an undiscovered cat first within that egg’s element and rarity, then allow duplicates once that matching pool is complete.
Does StepFurr change my Apple Health data?
No. StepFurr requests read-only access to steps, walking and running distance, and active energy. It never writes to Apple Health. You control access in Apple’s Health app.
Why are my activity readings missing or different?
Check Apple Health access for all three activity categories. Health updates can arrive later, and manually entered samples are excluded. StepFurr does not estimate missing distance or energy from your steps.
When do changes to my daily goal take effect?
Goal changes take effect the next day. Your current day keeps its existing target, and your streak grows when you achieve that day’s goal.
What happens if I close the app during a hatch?
The first tap resets if you leave. After the second tap, the cracked egg is saved and reopening returns you to it. Once a cat is saved, an interrupted reveal keeps that same outcome.
What is included in StepFurr Pro?
Monthly and Lifetime both include three extra daily eggs, optional iCloud collection backup, and widgets. Monthly adds one purchase bonus egg with normal rarity chances. Lifetime adds five purchase bonus eggs: four guaranteed Rare with different balanced elements, followed by one guaranteed Nature Legend. Bonuses do not repeat on Monthly renewal. Prices are shown in the app.
How do I manage or restore a purchase?
Use Restore Purchases in StepFurr Settings or Restore on the Pro screen. Monthly is an auto-renewing subscription managed through your App Store account. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not automatically cancel an existing Monthly subscription.
Can I move my collection to another iPhone?
StepFurr Pro can back up and restore discovered cats through your private iCloud account. This collection backup does not include Health activity, unhatched eggs, preferences, or unfinished hatches. Reconnect Apple Health on your new iPhone to read its available activity.
